God's Plan For Us
This is our journey - God's incredible plan for our lives. When we followed the moving of the Holy Spirit, He opened the windows of Heaven and poured out upon us blessings we never dreamed of! Indescribable joy!
" For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Xiaoyun Speaks
Please feel free to share Xiaoyun's video with anyone who will watch!
Xiaoyun's video was unscripted - she wanted to tell people about the orphans, so we sat the camera in front of her and asked one question "What do you want to tell others?". This is her reply.
Xiaoyun was adopted in April, just days before she turned 14 and would no longer have been eligible for adoption.

Precious! Thank you for sharing- what a beautiful gift to remind us what is important and to share all we have.
ReplyDeleteYou have just made me cry tears because I am so very happy to see that you are with your Mama and Baba. When my daughter, Maddie, gets home from school I am going to show this to her. She was adopted from China when she was almost 5 and is Deaf. Now that she is home (and she has two big brothers who spoil her) she can use her hands to talk (sign language) and is doing very, very well in school! She also has been learning all about God...just like you have! I wish I lived closer so we could all go out for a big, big ice cream cone!!! Hugs to you sweet girl!!!!! Heather Luke
ReplyDeletebeautiful...I'm ready to start a new Dossier!
ReplyDeleteOh that the Church would use their voice the way Xiaoyun has. She has certainly come a long way in a short time and she is ready and willing to witness already. Praise God and the mighty works He has already done through her witness. thank you for posting this
ReplyDeletePlease consider using a whey supplement shake in the morning to get some weight on your darling! It is the only thing that has worked for my 27 pound daughter (from China.)

This is so inspiring and touching. God bless you Xiaoyun! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe Saltsman family think Xiaoyun is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. We loved the video and we pray it inspires others to consider adoption.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Xiaoyun! Yes, that is exactly what God's children need...a mama and a baba to love them as God already does. You rock!
ReplyDeleteXiaoyun you are very very special - what a heartfelt video to let people know how wonderful it is to adopt a child who needs a Baba and Mama. I had to find the tissue box, this moved me so.
ReplyDeleteJan J., mama to Lily, adopted as a baby in Anhui Province, and Jing, adopted at almost 7 in Shaanxi Province, both 14 - if only I could go get one more!
God bless you, Xiaoyun, even more than He already has. He certainly has blessed our family. We are heading back to China for our second precious daughter. Thank you for spreading the message like no one else can.

ReplyDeleteAmazing. What a special young lady. Our daughter was adopted at 6.5 with severe congenital scoliosis, from Beijing #1, so I was especially touched by her story.
ReplyDeleteI just love this video! I've watched it 3 days in a row, and still get teary. My wife and I are in the midst of trying to adopt a 13 year old from China now. Sharing this precious girl's video with the world powerfully reinforces the fact that bringing our future daughter home to us is surely God's will for our family. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! What a gift it is when families find each other.
ReplyDeleteThis is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen or heard. From the mouths of babes comes truth. What a beautiful girl, what a beautiful heart.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the post, your daughter and mine could be sisters. My daughter is 9 and has had surgery on her back as well! She has been home with us three years. Their spirits are so similar. I just loved listening to her.

How Precious! We are in the process of adopting a girl from China. Xiaoyun, You did a wonderful job on the video! That was by far the cutest video I have ever seen on the computer. I know your Baba and Mama are so happy to have you in their family. If my family was not already adopting from China, we would be after watching that video. Keep telling everyone about the darling children from China. God loves you very much!!!
